the process

01

Inquiry & Consultation:

Once you inquire, I’ll respond with all the details

you need and we'll schedule a quick consultation

call. On the call I'll walk you through all your options and share some stories from past weddings!

02

Booking & Planning:

I'll send over a custom quote and once that is approved you’ll receive a booking link with a contract and invoice. Once your retainer is paid, you’re officially on my calendar! From there, we’ll start planning timelines, locations, and all the little details.

03

Engagement Session:

This session is a great way for us to work together

before the big day and for you two to have fun

in front of the camera. It’s relaxed, romantic, and

totally you. These photos are perfect for save-the-

dates or your wedding website.

04

Wedding Day Coverage:

This is what we've been waiting for! I’ll be there

capturing every hug, happy tear, and crazy dance move your aunt Sue does.

FAQ

Do you help with the timeline?

Absolutely! I’m more than just your photographer, I’m also your photo-friendly timeline expert. I’ll work with you (and your planner, if you have one) to build a stress-free schedule that ensures we have plenty of time for every important moment and beautiful portrait.

What happens if it rains?

Rainy days can still be magical! I always have a backup plan in mind and am experienced with adjusting timelines and locations if needed. Whether it’s clear skies or a cozy drizzle, your photos will still be stunning, we’ll embrace the weather and create something beautiful.

Are engagement sessions included?

My larger packages do include complimentary engagement sessions, for my other packages I do offer discounted engagement sessions for couples who book their wedding.

How should I select a package?

After a consultation call I can help map out the package that will best fit what you want captured. Every wedding day is different so sometimes a custom package is the best option!

I want to do my first look down the aisle, do you have first look alternatives?

1. First Touch: You stand back-to-back, around a corner, or hold hands without seeing each other. It gives you a quiet moment together while still saving that visual reveal for the aisle.

2. Private Vow Exchange (No Peeking): Read your vows to each other while holding hands or standing on opposite sides of a door/wall. It keeps things intimate and emotional without breaking tradition.

3. Letter Exchange: Write letters to each other and read them separately before the ceremony. This creates a really meaningful pause in the day and helps calm nerves.

4. Gift Exchange: Exchange something small and meaningful, like a handwritten note, jewelry, or something sentimental, through your photographer or a bridesmaid/groomsman.

5. First Look with a Parent or Loved One: Do a first look with a parent, grandparent, or sibling instead. These are always emotional and meaningful while still keeping the partner reveal for the ceremony.

6. Voice Recording or Video Message: Record a message for each other to listen to while getting ready. It’s a really personal way to connect without physically being together.
